Explore our curated collection of premium leather panels, cut from top-grade Hermann Oak® sides and sold by the piece for makers, crafters, and small-batch creators. Whether you're working on holsters, belts, wallets, or sheaths, these veg-tanned leathers offer rich character, weather resistance, and trusted quality—perfect for projects that demand the real deal.
Bridle leather is hot-stuffed with waxes and finished for a firmer, more structured feel—great for belts, tack, and holsters. Heritage 1881 has a softer, more supple temper with a smooth top grain feel, making it ideal for wallets, journals, and accessories. Both are veg-tanned and made by Hermann Oak® in the USA.
Because this is full grain leather, it may show minor surface character like healed scratches, bug bites, or range marks. These natural features are cosmetic only and are part of what gives each piece its unique look.
Absolutely. We use this material in our Lasers. Both leathers take tooling and laser engraving well—though bridle has a firmer feel and may require slightly different settings than Heritage 1881. We recommend testing a small section before full production.
Right now we offer 6x6, 6x12, and 12x12 panels, but we’re planning to add more sizes soon. If you're interested in larger pieces or custom cuts, feel free to reach out for a quote!
