Hermann Oak Leather Company has been producing top-grain vegetable-tanned leather since 1881, supplying the local harness trade and wagon trains of settlers along the Lewis and Clark Trail.

We primarily use Hermann Oak Expedition 1881 top-grain or Bridle leather for our patches. It's 100% vegetable-tanned with organic plant-based materials (leaves, bark, acorns), so there are no harmful environmental effects. This is the same premium leather used in high-end saddles, belts, and leather goods.

Laser Engraving Process

Our patches are precision-cut through laser engraving for exceptional detail. The laser engraving process produces fine char dust in the engraved areas, which we meticulously seal with a flexible, durable, and water-resistant coating. Artwork Recommendations: For the best engraving results, we recommend vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) or high-resolution raster files (PNG, JPG at 300 DPI minimum).

Customization Options
