Here’s why shops and teams are switching to it, and exactly what your artwork needs to look like before you order.
No order minimums. Order one or order a thousand. Liquid 3D is built for any quantity, so it works just as well for a single sample as it does for a full team order.
Made in the USA. Every emblem is printed and applied right here in the United States, so quality stays consistent order after order.
Patent-pending technology. This isn’t a knockoff of embroidered patches. It’s a new category of premium dimensional emblem.
No screens. No molds. No setup. Traditional embroidery and patches need tooling before you even start. Liquid 3D skips all of it, which is how we can say yes to small orders and still turn them around fast.
Liquid 3D emblems are built from your artwork, so the file you send us matters. Here’s what to check before you submit a design, so it comes back looking exactly the way you pictured it.
We can only work with vector PDF files. No JPGs, PNGs, or scanned images, raster files inside a PDF won’t process. Talk to your graphics person. If your logo currently only exists as a raster image, it’ll need to be recreated or traced as vector art first. Any text in your design also needs to be converted to outlines, and any strokes need to be converted into filled shapes, before you send it over. Not sure what to do, we offer Artist assistance for a fee.
If your logo is bigger or smaller than this, it’ll need to be resized or simplified to fit.
Every Liquid 3D emblem needs a “fabric layer”, a single, connected base shape that holds the rest of your design together. Think of it as the backing your logo sits on. A few rules here:
We have the tools to do this for you.
Because this is a raised, dimensional product, very thin lines and tiny details don’t always survive the process. As a guide:
If your logo has delicate script fonts or intricate line work, it’s worth checking these details before you submit.
Emblems sit 1.25mm to 2.5mm above the fabric layer (the fabric layer itself adds another 1mm). Once your file is uploaded, colors automatically map to our library of over 180 shades, and there’s no limit on how many colors you use in a single design.
Linear gradients are supported and can even be added inside the design tool. Do not add gradients to the art you submit. Radial gradients, gradient meshes, and gradient blends are not supported. If your file has one of these, it’ll be swapped for a solid color automatically.
If something in your file falls outside these specs, our system can auto-fix it on upload. Keep in mind: auto-fix changes your design, and it can’t be undone. For the best results, and the least surprises, it’s worth getting your file within spec before you submit.
Liquid 3D is applied with heat, which makes it a great fit for:
A few things to watch out for:
Send us your vector PDF and we’ll take it from there. If your file needs adjusting to meet spec, our team can help, or you can work with us directly to get it dialed in before production. Either way, you’ll get a bold, raised, professional emblem, at any quantity, made right here in the USA.
